Built for the person on the other side of the table

Email the person who can hire you.Skip the job board.

ColdReach reads your résumé, finds the roles you fit and the named people who own them at the companies you want, drafts the email, and sends it from your own mailbox. When someone replies, the sequence stops and the thread is yours.

Problem

The hiring funnel is broken at both ends.

The front door — Apply

A lottery with a million tickets.

Job boards behave like queues no human reads in full. Applications land in an ATS, get ranked by keyword, and disappear. The only lever is volume, and every candidate already has it.

The side door — Get referred

The path that actually works.

People who get hired get hired the way they always have: through someone who knew their name before the résumé arrived. It routes around the queue entirely, and it is rationed by who you already know.

The side door was never built for the person who does not already have a network. That is what ColdReach is.

Insight

A reply is not luck. It is a pipeline.

  • Signal

Who is actually hiring, right now.

Not the posting. The roles your résumé credibly matches at the companies you name, ranked by fit, before a word is written.

  • Identity

    Which specific person owns it.

One named person with the authority to say yes. Not a careers@ alias and not a recruiter screening 400 profiles.

  • Reason to reply

    Something worth the 20 seconds.

A message that could only have been written to that person, about that company, by you. Everything else is deleted.

Sales teams automated all three of these a decade ago. Nobody built it for the person on the other side of the table. Until now.

How it works

From a résumé to a reply, in four steps.

  1. 01

    Upload the résumé.

Once. ColdReach reads it, shows you what it read, and lets you correct anything before a word of it reaches a stranger.

  2. 02

    Pick roles.

It proposes the roles you credibly match. You keep the ones you want; nothing gets written for the rest.

  3. 03

    Pick the person.

For each company, the named people who own that role and how sure we are about each address. You decide who stays.

  4. 04

    Send from your own mailbox.

Drafts are written for you to read. Approve them and they go out spaced apart, from your address, and the outbox shows every one.

Nothing is sent that you have not read. Nothing is sent from an address that is not yours. A reply stops the sequence; a bounce retires the address for good.

The seam

The reply is the trigger.

  1. Stage 1: Day 0

    Drafts go out.

From your own mailbox, to the people you approved, spaced apart.

  2. Stage 2: Day 1–3

    A bounce retires an address.

For good. Nothing is retried, and nobody else is guessed at that company.

  3. Stage 3: Day 3

    A person replies.

The sequence to them stops that minute. The thread is yours.

  4. Stage 4: Same day

    The reply is classified.

Interest, a referral, or a no. The outbox says which, and what to do next.

  5. Stage 5: Then

    A referral request is matched.

In the referral market, with someone inside who can vouch for the role.

  6. Stage 6: After

    The next batch learns.

What got a reply goes back into how tomorrow's drafts are written.

A job board never sees the reply. A mass-mail tool does not care what happens after it. Only the product that caused the reply can carry it on to a referral.

Referrals

The reply is the start. The referral is the point.

A cold email gets you a conversation. A referral gets you past the queue. ColdReach runs a small, two-sided market for them, matched on the roles you are already writing about.

  • Who is in it

People already inside the companies you want.

Insiders who have confirmed their employer from a work address post the roles they can refer into. Candidates post the roles they want. ColdReach pairs them.

  • What happens

A match shows the role, not the person.

You see a title, a company, a fit score and one sentence the other side wrote. Nobody's name or address is shown until both of you accept.

  • What it produces

A referral, with a name on it.

Once both sides accept, contact details are revealed and the application goes in with someone inside vouching for it. Matches expire; nothing lingers.

Trust

We are structurally incapable of wanting spam.

We optimise for replies, not sends. Spam destroys the only number we are graded on. So these are not terms and conditions. They are how the product works.

Your mailbox, your name.
Every email goes out from the Gmail account you connect. No pooled sending domain, no spoofed headers, no third party wearing your name.
Daily caps.
A hard limit per day and per company, set well under provider thresholds and checked before every send. Volume is not a feature we sell.
Relevance gate.
You cannot send into a role you do not credibly match. The system declines to write it rather than writing it badly.
Nothing goes out unchecked.
Every draft is checked for a leftover placeholder, a missing reason for writing, a subject that truncates on a phone, and a way to opt out.
One reply ends it.
Any reply from a person stops the sequence immediately. A bounce retires the address for good. There is no “just checking in” after a no.
Delete everything.
We read your inbox only for bounces and replies to messages you sent, never anyone else's. Your résumé, contacts and drafts are yours, and deleting the account deletes them.
